The 2010 FIFA World Cup will present many opportunities for businesses in Sedibeng. By registering on the Sedibeng Stakeholder Database you will be linking to a wealth of information about the upcoming event, as well as business opportunities that will emerge. If you are involved, or intend to be involved in:

• Accommodation: For tourists. This could include anything from large hotels, small B&B's, special accommodation at your home, converting student residences into temporary accommodation, campsites, caravan parks etc.
• Catering: In small and large quantities, from traditional foods to fast foods. From restaurant owners to home industries, we need to have you on our database.
• Arts and Crafts: Production. The demand for art and crafts as souvenirs will be high as will the need for performers, musicians and entertainers.
• Transport Services: The public transport industry will play a significant role in moving people about safely and reliably. Additional services will need to be registered and properly coordinated. Proper accreditation will need to be issued.
• Tour Operators: Will play a big part in getting tourists to various attractions in an informative and well coordinated way. Huge interest in safaris and township tours are already exists.
• Specialised Services: Translators, Technicians, Promotional Gift Manufacturers, Security Personnel, Communications Service Providers, Audio-visual Specialists and many other services will be in high demand before and during the event.

We need you to register with us. Sedibeng District Municipality will assist with grading of accommodation, communicating updates on the progress of the 2010 Strategy, creating links between the supply and demand of products and services and in many other ways. The SDM website, and associated partner websites, will attempt to give you maximum exposure to local, national and international markets.
