Description

This resort is in Deneysville next the Vaaldam Wall. It is an established resort and the new owners, Phillip and Kathy have done much improvement and are still upgrading the resort. Great attention was given to the ablutions.

A Pub and restaurant with DSTV and pool table is also available.
A huge swimming pool is also available for the kids.

This is one of few resorts with trees on the shore's edge with a bay in the shape of a horseshoe. In some winters when the waters are shallow, boat launching is still possible, without interfering with the fisherman and they are still able to walk to deeper waters for casting their lines.

Fishing and Caravan Clubs are very welcome to get together at the resort.. There are 120 sites/stands available.

Accommodation has also been upgraded and consists of 6 rondavels which accommodates 4 people each. We also have 10 caravans under carports with shade net and own braai. Each has a double bed and two single beds, as well as a fridge. Bookings are essential to avoid disappointment.

Rus n Bietjie oord is a holiday resort, situated on the Vaal Dam with 1,2 km dam front. It is in Deneysville, on the border of Midvaal and Freestate.

It offers the following facilities:
- Self catering rondavels / wooden huts to rent suitable for 4 people(no bedding or cutlery)
- Caravan and Tent sites with or without power.
- Self catering caravan's to rent suitable for 4/6 people
- Facility to leave your caravan on a dedicated stand for your use only ( from R500pm )
- Fishing area with campsites with/without power
- Slipways to launch boats into Vaaldam, canoes and life jackets to rent @ R50p/canoe
- Restaurant/Pub with DSTV, poolroom, dance, karaoke, etc
- Entertainment area with Large- and kiddies pool, jumping castle, trampolines, stage, etc.
- Backpackers sleep-over in our large tent @R25p/person (We supply bed only)
- Entertainment area to rent for your functions or conference
- Clean ablution blocks with baths and showers
- Picnic area with built in braais for day visitors
